Abstract:

A multi-agent testbed for experimenting with organizational structures is  resented. The testbed is used to experiment with five organizational structures

used in Tom Malone’s (1987) study of the efficiency and flexibility of organizational structures. The experiments replace the ordinal distinctions made by Malone of the performance of each structure with a ratio measurement of the differences.
