Abstract: |
Individual skills and
properties of the human beings involved have made analyzing product
development systems difficult. A flexible approach to modeling and simulating
these social systems is still missing. Due to their high degree of structure
product development processes do lend themselves to simulation and analysis though.
In this paper we outline the specific challenges and requirements for
creating a complete model of social product development systems. We also
propose a new approach for modeling and simulating real-world development
systems. |
