In this work, a novel method is applied for the transient simulation of MOS VLSI circuits. Waveform relaxation techniques are combined with an integration method based on Bezier functions. A solver package is developed in FORTRAN for MOS circuits and satisfactory results are obtained from sample circuit simulations.
Mr. Ogrenci has worked on the application of waveform relaxation techniques in circuit simulation. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD degree in EE department working as a research assistant. His MS thesis is "Application of spline integration methods with waveform relaxation techniques in analysis of VLSI circuits." His research interests are in the fields of Analog and digital VLSI circuit design and simulation with emphasis on synthesis of analog neural networks. He is a student member of IEEE.
