Abstract: |
The aim of this paper is to suggest a
new approach in time-delay identification. With the focus on the value of the
delay it utilizes known system parameters for model based
predictions in order to estimate the most precise value of the time-delay.
This method was further extended by applying a modified internal model based
on smaller sampling value which enables to receive
results with greater precision than a single original sampling step. The
suggested procedure therefore grants a deeper insight into the development of
the time-delay and influencing effects from outer signals. The identification
algorithm was realized in the MATLAB environment, which was also used for
simulations verifying precision of the approach. |
