Abstract: |
Vibration based energy harvesting gained a lot of
importance in the last two decades, due to the various potential vibration
sources in industrial environments, where sensors have to be implemented in
inaccessible environments. In this paper we present a concept of a dual
frequency piezoelectric energy harvester with magnetic tuning capabilities
together with characterization results. We subsequently investigate a
potential gain in the electrical power output by implementing separated
piezoelectric patches. |
