Abstract: |
A methodology
is presented for the quantitative modeling and assessment of master
narratives in order to develop ways in which a master narrative may be
modified without affecting its fundamental beliefs. The modeling approach is
based on first developing a concept map of the key beliefs in the narrative
and then using social network analysis measures to assess the strength and
influence of these beliefs. Finally, influence net models are used to derive
and evaluate strategies for modifying the effects of these beliefs. |
